"Email to myself" feature

The "Email to myself" feature lets you send documents to your own email address, or even upload them to an online storage service like Evernote or Box.net, with a single tap.

You can fully customize your email message parameters: address, attachment type, subject, etc.

Online storage services

Uploading documents to online services via email is instant, secure, and can be done even if you're temporarily off line.

The most popular services use different addressing schemes:

Evernoteassigns each account a unique email address, which you can find on the Settings page of Evernote's Web site. You can use the subject line to name your uploaded documents.

Box.netuses a single address for all user uploads: upload@box.net; you must send your email from your registered Box.net account.  Find more details at the bottom of this page:

Flickrusers are assigned a special email address for photo uploads. Learn more at:

Note that you can also use the app's “Open in...” function to open your documents in apps like the free Dropbox or Evernote app, to send them to “clouds” directly from there. Check to see whether your particular “cloud” service has an iPhone app.

In app Settings menu, tap “Email to myself.”
