In the older Xonix game you controlled a device, which moved over a field with several monster-balls wandering inside. The objective was to cut the balls away from as much spare field as possible. The rules of AirXonix are almost the same, except the device you control is flying in the air and everything is in full 3D! The stunning special effects are strengthened by 3D sound! New types of monsters and a slew of different bonuses all displayed in full 3D bring the old game to an entirely new level. The complete AirXonix distribution includes 5 types of games with more then 80 levels. The rules are simple and the game will give unforgettable pleasure to people of any age! 2. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
3. HOW TO PLAY3.1 Game RulesYou control the flying device, which moves above the playing field. Your goal is to fill in the majority of the field. To achieve it, you have to fly above a clear area, and to cut off parts without the balls. (At the same time the balls should not cross your trajectory!) Avoid contacts with the mines, which move on the filled areas. Playing time for each level is limited. Collect the bonuses to gain life, to increase score and time, to slow down all balls and mines. The basic way to achieve maximum scores is to pass levels as quickly as possible and to collect bonuses. To linger at a level specifically to collect a greater number of bonuses is unprofitable. At the end of each level the time used is taken into account. An extra large premium is given for completing the entire game and for remaining lives. 3.2 Keyboard Controls:Menu controls:

3.3 Custom controls & JoystickIf you want to use a Joystick enable the "Use Joystick" option in the Engine Options dialog. Using the menu of the game options ("Controls" option) you can assign for each action a custom keyboard button, joystick button or joystick axis. Simply press the necessary button or turn the joystick handle on each required action. 3.4 Engine OptionsPush the "OPTIONS" button in start dialog to change engine options:
"OK" button - Save changes
and exit. "NEXT DEVICE" button - Select 3D display rendering device. You can choose the video adapter, in case if your system contains more than one adapter, and a hardware acceleration or program emulation mode. "Video Mode" - Set display resolution in the game. Select the lower resolution to increase the performance or higher resolution to increase picture quality. "Use Joystick" - Enables joystick support. This flag should not be enabled if you do not use a joystick. "Joystick Sensitivity" - Select the sensitivity of the joystick axes. Experiment with it, and choose the most suitable variant for your system. 4. REGISTRATION4.1 Registration OverviewAirXonix is distributed on a shareware basis. You can register your copy of AirXonix at a cost of $14 (US). On payment approval, we will send you the registration key that will remove all the limitations. Your registration will be valid for all future versions of AirXonix. The registration fee will license AirXonix for use on one computer in your home, and on one computer at your workplace.
